We follow a three step approach of bringing an evolution in the lives of the differently abled children where higher success is guaranteed at the end of the last step. And, the child is all set to grasp further schooling and a livelihood.

Our approach/Process involved?

Our approach involves 3 effective segments

STEP 1: Data collection, Identification and Counseling-

We initially get started with the process of collecting data pertaining to the differently abled children (Under 14 specified categories mentioned). We collect it primarily from various government schools, hospitals or by other means. Or, the target group may also directly contact us by filling an online form available on our site.

With the conglomerated data, we carry out a door to door visit to the target audience’s place or residence

Then we carry out counseling with the parent/guardian of the differently abled child. In this process, we try to interrogate about their child’s behavior, history and gather all data pertaining to him/her. We also counsel the child and study the behavior tremendously.

We also examine whether the disability in the child has occurred-

  • Since by birth
  • After birth
  • Due to premature birth
  • Due to strokes and
  • Due to mental retardation

After examining the issue involved, we motivate their parents to get their child out, who are basically confined to those four walls, encourage getting the child admitted to our centre, so that he/she can live a life with dignity and just like any other normal kid!

Step 2: Medical aid and substantiative environment at our VSDES welfare society-

Once the counseling process is complete, the differently abled child is admitted to our centre. We offer affordable fee structure at Rupees 30,000/- (Includes transportation charges) per anum that incorporates medical care, physiotherapy and complete process involved. We provide medical care suited to the child according to requirement. Few of them include, physiotherapy, exercises – manual or machine oriented, hydrotherapy, building mental strength and mental ability, etc. For which we have highly capable and enthusiastic professionals.

Physiotherapy in health care will ensure the kids to maximize their functioning of different parts of the body, mobility of the parts, increase flexibility and stay active.

Step 3: Developmental activities involving the children-

We carry out a vivid range of activities to bring out evolution of the differently abled children, elite group includes-

1. Exposing the child to the outside world or the public. This is the critical stage, because there are cases where the children are unexposed even to the sunlight.

2. Nail kali learn while playing, wherein, the child is allowed to play different games, get involved in various activities and learn things synchronously.

3. Motivating the children tremendously and making them believe that they too have a life and can live a life independently, just like other children.

4. Rendering the basic alphabetical knowledge to the children which become indispensable to grab schooling in the future.

5. Inline to the alphabetical teaching, the child is also learned to scribble, or hold a pencil/pen, etc.

6. Instructing on Identification of - gender, colors, taste, shapes, type of food (solid/fluid), etc.

7. Our activities or evolution process are so inclusive that, the child is able to exhibit and understand different kind of emotions, i.e. smile, laugh, etc.

8. An interactive session, wherein, the differently abled children interact with the normal kids. So that, they get habitual.

9. Simultaneously to the above activities, we also carry out regular meetings with the parents to make the whole system more inclusive and effective.

After the course the differently abled child will be able to-

  • Read/write alphabets, scribble or hold pencil/pen
  • Identify taste of the food. Differentiate among solid/liquid, etc.
  • Able to decide what to eat and what not to
  • Carry out excretion activities without depending on others
  • Sense the emotions, like laugh, smile, etc
  • Identify shapes, gender
  • Lean body
  • Wash or clean face
  • Identify parents
  • View and distinguish different people
  • Activation of senses
  • View and identify different people
  • Enhance memorizing capability
  • Identify different things by a touch
  • Key out location of residence
  • Enhance memorizing capability
